Gong bath - Durham

Elemental Sounds - gong bath in Witton Gilbert, near Durham City, with Paula and Tarquin Bolton. Gong baths are a particular kind of sound journey, or sound meditation. No water is involved but the name evokes the waves of sound that wash over and through you during a gong bath, leaving your whole being refreshed and revitalised. This effect is deeply relaxing for most people, at the same time the experience of inner journeying can be intense and profoundly transformative. ​ This gong bath will bring you the awesome sounds of our Symphonic, Sound Creation and Planetary gongs, along with Himalayan singing bowls, a frame drum, and other meditative instruments; past gong baths have included didge, swarmandal-tanpura, wind gong, ocean drum and waterphone. HOW TO BOOK: Places are limited and must be booked in advance. Cost: £12.50 if paid before 7th October '18, £15 thereafter; including tea and biscuits at the end.
